This edition of Castings features Pierre Woodman's mid-1990s casting interviews with nine Eastern European performers, interspersed with footage of their performances. The interviews aren't terribly interesting unless you speak French (the sparse English subtitles are out of synch), but watching each woman go through the same set of poses provides some insight into their different styles and attitudes.

The clearest message here is that making porn is a dreary business. Pierre sounds pretty bored during the interviews, though he perks up while "initiating" Anette.

The bonus footage of Katalyn Simon and Myriam is an exhausting, slow-moving photo shoots. The actual clips, which include some very impressive anal and d.p. scenes as well as audio of the directors' instructions, are more interesting, but it's rather sad to hear one woman after another told to fake an orgasm. Most viewers, no matter how much they appreciate pornographers' hard work, would probably rather not see how sausagefests are made.
