The fine-tuned many of the technical glitches of the VHS version. This U.K. cult fave is still as campy as ever, which may deter some viewers in the same way people love or loathe the kitschy work of John Waters. The acting is way over-the-top and the low budget, yet outrageous sets are the product of a true glue gun master.
Emily Bouffante plays Pervirella - a glamazon who bears the terrible burden of becoming a sex-crazed maniac whenever her sacred necklace is removed. There's more to this complex romp of deviancy, misadventure, self-gratification and survival, but viewers who aren't above watching a highly imaginative, if not all that naughty B-movie are sure to be pleased.
