Mike Horner is the hard-nosed private dick working for black widow Sydnee Steele and sticking his hard-dicked private nose into the business of her ne'er-do-well daughter Jewel De'Nyle, who is working some kind of hooker-strongarm rip-off scam with bad guy boyfriend Alec Metro.
Horner is cool, giving a pre-nom performance as the center around which this confusing roundelay spins, here watching a two-couple four-way, there throwing a fuck to De'Nyle, over there making a plan with barmaid Charlie Angel to frame Metro with a planted watch and sealing it with a kiss and then some. The plot doesn't make much sense, but the sex is good and the stylistic touches - like a dimly-lit interrogation room with a noose hanging in one corner, never seen but casting an ominous shadow on the wall - are wonderful. Ending has ambivalent touch, with Horner facing a long stretch in the stir with the promise of mother and daughter both waiting for him plus millions stashed in a safe-deposit box - if he can trust them.
