All the sexual fantasies that have surrounded drive-in theaters over the decades come to life in Passion Pit, where the sign over the snack bar asking "Are You A Rocker?" is not an inquiry into musical preference.
As roller-skating car hops at an adult drive-in, Traci Lords and Stacey Donovan often end up in hotter action than is on the silver screen. Two of the movie's raunchiest scenes include beautiful Lords, who along with Donovan gives a "screw" to the cash register repairman and later fills the snack orders of two guys in a Mustang convertible all by herself. Actually, all the sex here is exciting —Little Oral Annie's deep throating of John Holmes, a lesbian scene in a convertible which almost sends the girls falling out of the car, etc.— and is as much a result of the sexual adolescent drive-in lore we grew up as the actual film performances.
Duck Dumont and Charles DeSantos do an excellent job of directing and filming the action. Dumont's script may not be the strongest, but it provides enough cohesiveness to draw all the action together. More background music might have enhanced the film somewhat, but as it stands; Passion Pit is erotic adult entertainment.
