Poor lighting and jerky camerawork that too often can't seem to find a subject on which to focus bring down the rating of this otherwise enjoyable feature.
The framing device is, of course, "Ona's Sex Academy," where regular people like yourselves can come and learn how to make love. Of course, regular people like yourselves can't usually act worth a damn, so all the techniques are demonstrated by accomplished (and semi-accomplished) pornstars.
"Semi"; there's the rub. This feature can't decide whether it wants to be truly instructional, in which case it needs several more accomplished pros than are present (porn is one of the areas where the maxim "those who can, do; those can't, teach" definitely doesn't hold true), or just show some decent couplings, in which case it needs tighter direction. For instance, the usually-excellent Alex Sanders' scene with new girl Missy – do their eyes make contact even once? Except for the touching of body parts, it's as if they're in different rooms. It's a classic example of what we mean when we say "sex by the numbers."
Much, much better is Mike Horner's "seduction" of big-eyed blonde Dallas. While it's obvious that the two are strangers, at least Dallas responds to Horner's caresses and generally seems to be enjoying herself. It's the feature's best scene. In the same ballpark are the intercut (but well-edited, for a change) couplings between Peter North and Tera Heart, and Melissa Hill and Brick Majors in the finale – but they're so short, it's as if somebody had his/her eye on the tape's running time and said, "Okay, we're running over; you can pop now." Better they should have shaved some time off the opening threeway, with Tom Chapman trying to pleasure the uncharacteristically restrained Sally Layd and neophyte Amanda Addams, or the three-girler with Seth Damien, Amanda and Lana Sands, where nobody seems to know what to do with each other.
Of note, however, is the generally excellent exotic music which accompanies several of the scenes; very "native," with a good sexual beat. Would that the action it underscores had been as good. Retailers, however, will want to stock this tape with its two predecessors for maximum sales/rental results.
