Post-"Brat" Nikki Randall, still cute as ever, resurfaces in a decent three-way with Alex Dane and T.T. Boy, whose pop shots are beginning to rival Peter North's. This scene is one of the few highlights in a plodding mystery which relies heavily on Raymond Chandler for inspiration and the usual suspects for leaden performances (in highly familiar surrounding). We've all been to this private-dick picnic before.
