By-the-numbers bondage for a market that's been handed so much mediocrity it'll buy almost anything. Contrary to its appearance, the transfer is actually very good. The video noise and heavy-duty moiré are the result of crappy source video that's been mastered about as well as could be expected. The same is probably true for the audio, which has a strange tone that makes it seem dubbed.
