Jill is a beautiful young woman working in a dead end job. She's engaged to a steroid-using, physically abusive man who is more concerned with football and working out than her. After a bad fight, she decides to go in search of a new life and happiness. She leaves the next morning and heads to South Beach with dreams of becoming a famous model. She meets Mona and Billie, two gorgeous "gender illusionists" who run a cabaret who guide and protect her as she makes her way into the modeling world. With their help she reclaims her self-confidence and finally lands a big modeling job. However, as her new life is starting, her fiance tracks her down. Enraged and obsessed, he is determined to take her home where he thinks she belongs.
Here's a sweet story of girl power, unconditional friendships and starting over. A feel-good video for anyone.
