Soap opera meets real life here as the retiring-from-adult Lauren Montgomery "moves to San Francisco" and a new character, played by Asia Carrera, joins the line-up.
After Nina's radio show, feckless station owner Dale DaBone drops in and slips da bone in her mouth during the limo ride home. After she blows him, he blows her off and as the limo drives away she looks into camera and asks "Whatever happened to a goodnight kiss?" Characters interact with each other both horizontally and socially, and the previous-episodes intro and coming-up-next tease offer enough grounding to make latecomers to the series welcome.
Writer/director Toni English delivers clever dialogue and witty situations, and punctuates them with six sex scenes plus snippets of others in the recaps that bookend the video. She has an eye for hot sex and delivers it to the viewer in a straightforward way, with passion and without feigned romance, fitting the characters and their motivations.
