Ariel Demure checks her makeup in a mirror as Pierce Paris comes in and they reminisce about childhood hijinks. Demure defuses it by saying, "We're grown-ups now and we know better. Competently executed but not a lot of feeling. The third scene, which abandons the stepfamily theme, seems added to fill out the time.
