Like Not Tonight Henry, and The Immoral Mr. Teas, Mr. Peter's Pets represents another classic from the nudie-era of adult motion pictures.
And, like others of its ilk, Mr. Peter's Pets runs on an inane plot that requires you to tag along for the ride, but the end results are well worth the effort. Mr. Peter's Pets winds up being a smorgasbord of naked femininity, so hand in there for the first few dull minutes as the story-line unfolds.
Alfred Hopson plays a nerdish pet shop keeper who chances upon a chemical formula that turns him into any animal he desires. When a sexy blonde calls the shop asking him to send over a pet, this set the stage for what is to come. Hopson turns into a cat, which gives him carte blanche to watch the blonde strip to take a bath.
Similar vignettes follow, each of which features famous models from the 1960's. Most of the vignettes feature outdoor locations to afford skinny dipping (a popular subject in these films) and nude sunbathing.
If you're into unabashed voyeurism, this film's an absolute treasure. You're not going to see anything like this on the contemporary scene, and that's for sure.
