Perhaps giving Moments of Love a AAA rating is a bit generous. There's no quarrel with the "erotic" part of this rating—this film, which was previously released by Midnight Video Distributors in 1983, has bouncing bodies enough to delight any viewer. It's the "solid" description that is left a bit wanting.

What there is of the plot involves Nicole Black, who lives and has an intimate relationship with Mai Lin, who finds out from her doctor (Ron Jeremy) that she has only three months to live. We eventually find out the diagnosis is wrong, but not before Tisa decides to "experience life" by becoming a hooker and writing a book.

It certainly tries to be humorous between the copious and beautifully staged sex scenes. Lisa DeLeeuw is a talented commedienne, playing nurse to Jeremy's slightly addled doctor, and the two wind up on the examining table giving each other an examination. Fans of female couplings should enjoy the Nicole/Mai and Rhonda Jo Petty/Jade Wong scenes.

Most of the sex scenes are excellently performed, although the direction during them seems lax. Fortunately, the energy of the scenes far outweighs the cheesy dialogue.
