Aja plays a conservative late-night radio talk show hostess who moderates calls advising on how to best avoid fines on overdue library books. Her boss, station owner Jamie Gillis, decides to take matters in hand and directs Aja to skip the coffee cup chat and vie into the world of hardcore sexual fantasies, related by listeners over the phone. She does. The ratings soar. Ain't life simple?

Despite the seen-too-many-times-before premise, Midnight Baller is a good sex feature, largely due to the superior direction of Duck Dumont and Mike Vidor. Dumont and Vidor keep a tight rein on the production and the result is hot sex and plenty of it. This is a high-quality production all the way through except for the unfortunate runs in Rene Morgan's stockings.

The sex scenes are well shot, and the first copulation has Rene Morgan doing a slow grind on Jamie Gillis that could be honored when the award shows come around. French import, Fifi, turns in her usual wildly enthusiastic physical performance, and Don Fernando looks trim and fit.

Midnight Baller is a sizzling sexvid that is bound to please both men and women alike.
