Quite possibly, in an attempt of art (okay, porn) imitating life, Zane has split with host-performer Max nothing. They simply could have replaced him with Roger Moore, but nothing less than a cranial shell-game scenario, (wherein Steiner has a fatal car accident and brain-transplant) is enough to explain the presence of Rex King, the new Marx. Here, "new" doesn't necessarily mean "improved."
Steiner was endearingly low-key, but King generates all the charm of a house plant —a silk house plant. Fortunately, this volume is practically a showcase for Candy Apples, who practices what Steiner preached. Apples is peeled, cored and sauced by Jake Steed in few segments which reach the heights (or, in this case, lows) os previous installments. Christina West and Lorissa, a pair of natural-boobed babes who also know how to smuggle a bone, are simply left in Apples' wake. This series refuses to die. Until pronounced DOA, stock it.
