Robert McCallum’s classics like Hot Rackets, Susie Superstar, and last year’s hit Erotika have established him in the forefront of working directors. That is why Maverdick is such a disappointment. This disjointed western parody is adult’s answer to Mario Van Peebles’ Posse.

Sheriff Mr. Marcus orders deputy Hercules to apprehend two murder (Janet Jacme and Chyna Doll) while he rides on an enthusiastic Jeannie Pepper. He stuffs her with his dark meat before basting her with his cream sauce.  Deputy Herc meets up with Jacme and Dahl. He balls them both (Dahl is one mean fucking machine), but ol’ Herc has problem in the money shot department. Did someone say, “special effects?” Cut to a pointless scene between Champagne and Magnum D. I have to assume it’s there as filler.

Inside a tepee, Big Chief Valentino is putting the wood to Harryin. In her case the name should be “Hurry In” because that is how eager she is for his cock. Herc (who is watching) is so engrossed by this scene, that the feminine desperados get the drop on him and tie him up. At Chula Vista, the girls top for refreshments and dick, pairing off with Julian St. Jox and Tony Everready. While the girls are balling the boys at the bar (be sure to note the TV), Hercules gets loose, crashes the party, and recaptures the girls. They head back for old L.A. only to discover that it has been leveled in a white riot. (McCallum engaging in some grim humor.)
