The preface to Lunatic Night explains much of the nuance and cultural reasoning behind the heavily codified genre of Japanimation and Japanese fetishization in general. A concise English narrator covers school girl uniforms, lack of pubic hair and wildly colorful and extreme hairstyles which are so prevalent in Japanimation.
The two-part feature is original language with English subtitles. The plot centers on the lost continent of Atlantis and is a Post-Modern conglomeration of Eastern and Western myths flavored with copious quantities of sex. Kanzaki and his three buxom anthropomorphic cohorts save the world.
