If you've seen last year's mega-hit Midnight Run, the storyline of this steamer is going to seem very familiar... but when you see some of the truly scorching performances in this tape, you won't care where they got the plot from!
Joey Silvera, as Chase the Bounty Hunter, once again proves that he can act quite well when given a good script and good direction. Megan, as his prey, a rich-bitch embezzler, has just the right blend of whininess (I just made that word up) and sultry sexuality to make you want to savor every scene she's in. Brandy is memorably volcanic as Chase's ex-wife, but then, she's usually quite good. The surprise here is Porsche Lynn who does her best job in a long time, and she's looking better than ever. Don't miss her wraparound conversation with Mike Horner. Couple this with the reasonably good girl/girl scene at the beginning with Megan and Frankie, and you've got a hot one. You shouldn't miss it when your distributor rep tries to sell it to you.
