Lost is a well-structured story about a Hungarian girl – raised by her mom in the U.S. – who returns to Budapest to find her sister. She gets caught in the trap of a thief/hero purse snatching team that targets wealthy-looking tourists. But the hero falls in love and, instead of leeching money out of her, helps in the search for her long lost sister.
Meanwhile, the girl's guitar-playing husband is back in the U.S., cheating on her. And the trail to her sister leads to dark corners of strip clubs and live sex shows.
Pre-nom Tony G. and Raven Touchstone for Best Screenplay.
Retailing: European girls.
