With the luscious likes of Amber Lynn, Nina Hartley and Taija Rae providing a busty bonus it's hard to go wrong with these babes in toyland and boyland, especially when you've got Jerome Tanner's video expertise heading things up. The script on this one is fairly funny, but the idea behind it is an intriguing foray into fantasyland that works.
Just about everyone plays a doll (except Amber, who is one of the shopkeepers) in a toy store, sitting on the shelf waiting to be bought. But they don't sit idly after hours. They come very much alive as the store's back room is transformed into a sexual fun-house (all except for Taija, a bodice-bursting Barbie who's saving it for Ken 'til after they're married). There's plenty of snappy dialog and a good amount of sizzling sex, almost all of which takes place in a dreamy, blue-walled realm of doll-reality that's light years removed from the typical viscid video venue. And the Twilight Zonish, surreal ending is just wonderful.
As you've come to expect from a Tanner-vision video production technical quality is high, with the usual smattering of special effects, and, in this case, one of the brightest sets I've ever seen. Living Doll is loads of fun to play with.
