Synopsis

Jessica (Reagan Foxx) is having a wonderful family game night with her husband Rod (Tommy Pistol), her stepson David (Max Fills), and David's girlfriend Amy (Hailey Rose). Everything seems to be wholesome and going great until there's an unexpected knock at the door. Jessica excuses herself to cheerfully answer the door, then gets the shock of her life when she sees another woman (Shay Sights) smirking back at her. It's like looking in a mirror ... and it's clear from the horror on Jessica's face that she doesn't like who is looking back at her. Troy (Max Fills) and his stepsister Rachel (Scarlet Skies) are being scolded by their stepmom Cathleen (Serene Siren), because they're always fighting and have now been suspended from school because of it. Cathleen grounds them as punishment and demands that they use this time to learn to get along with each other.

Reviews

Director Bree Mills packs a lot into the macabre psychological sex thriller that's the first of two offerings in this release. Beginning with Reagan Foxx playing cards with hubby Tommy Pistol, his son Max Fills and Max’s fiancé Hailey Rose—a knock at the door, answered by Foxx, reveals a near mirror image of her in the form of a smirking Shay Sights. They could easily be sisters, but Sights is later revealed to be much more.

Foxx, uber emotional, shaking and panicking and on the verge of a nervous breakdown, confronts Sights in the bathroom, but emotions burst open and the two do one another in a way that, since they look like twins, also gives the impression that Foxx is doing herself. Sights then vanishes and is absorbed into Foxx’s body.

That night, Foxx/Sights treats a surprised Pistol with a romp in the hay, so to speak. She then spies on Fills and Rose getting it on, and blows Fills as his dad, Pistol, snores from a nearby bed.

The taboo part continues with the ladies splitting apart into two bodies and mutually doing Fills. Sights is obviously sadistic, and as they finish, she yells for Rose who come in; pissed, Rose slaps Fills for what she believes is him screwing his stepmom and aunt, and leaves. Foxx, shaking violently, reveals that Sights is a demon who has been disrupting her all of her life.

The family is now totally broken, and Foxx gets in the car to depart. Sights appears next to her, and Foxx finally gives in, says, “Fuck it,” and drives off with the demon Sights to apparently pursue who knows what mischief.

This is ... different ... and very watchable. Do yourself a favor and do so.

As almost a bonus, also included here is the featurette “Malicious Compliance,” and it's a bit more straightforward. Step-siblings Fills and Scarlet Skies, both rebellious teenagers with problems at school, find themselves at home with their stepmom Serene Siren, whose solution to their fighting amongst themselves is to leave them alone, unattended, to work things out—and a security camera is left on to gauge their progress.

The kids take it upon themselves to do things their way—and that includes finding a peaceful solution for their antagonistic tendencies by having first-time sex with one another—on camera—to piss off mom, who spot-checks the camera on her phone and becomes furious when she catches them coupling on the couch and cheerfully saying, “Hi, Mom.”
