Harry Reems isn't having a good day. Upon arriving home from his ad executive job, Harry's greeted by the appearance of ex-wife and son at his comfortable home. Harry didn't need this surprise!

The circumstances in L'Amour make for some swarmy sexual encounters and lots of witty one-liners from the ever-amiable Reems. His drugged out young girlfriend (Angel), shyster lawyer pal (Jamie Gillis) and the extra curricular activities of his ex (Kay Parker) and horny offspring (Tom Byron) add to the predicament.

Filmed and performed with a touch of style, L'Amour (bad title; it's about adultery, not love) has more going for it than any number of adult flicks combined. Producer Marga (The Dancers) Aulbach excels in this sort of couples-oriented opus.

But the movie derails midway through in a pointless scene involving Gillis and Reems at a bar. It's a predictable, misplaced sequence.

L'Amour gets back on the right track towards the end, as lusty newcomer Angel proves to be a talented teaser. However, that flabby midsection makes L'Amour L'Good, not L'Great.
