Moody, mysterious, provocative, comical... all these sexy traits are portrayed excellently by director Paul Vatelli. This late lensman had a knack for making everything sexy, and when one of his older titles makes its way to the store shelves we realize what a talent the industry has lost.

Honey Wilder is the gypsy, who explains the tarot cards as a means of connecting otherwise unrelated vignettes. The film is dated not only by the director, but also by a majority of the female cast. To the best of my knowledge only Sheri St. Clair is still working (Wilder's role is non-sexual), and it's good to see some of these girls again. The action, while maybe slow compared to a De Renzy feature, nevertheless generates intensity through mood and feeling: interior decorator Christy Canyon is fooled into a sexual foray when she mistakes the plumber for a wealthy businessman whose house she wants to remodel; a porno theater becomes the setting for two young voyeurs, who never say a word but let their bodies do the talking, and probably the best scene is when Herschel Savage stalks Tom Byron and Sheri St. Clair who, fearing for their lives, invite the horny devil to join in.

The industry—as well as the consumer— needs more features such as Kiss Of The Gypsy. Even though the gypsy plot doesn't hold the action together very well and some of the acting is forced, the mood and feeling of sex come across very well. This makes for a feature which should garner a lot of sales and rentals.
