A German softcore porn film made in 1975 is given new life after being dubbed into English and teamed with a contemporary 22-minute short video. The title film has an actual storyline, with a resort's on-call gigolo falling in love with a virginal aristocrat. Amusing, stylish dialogue and lush Alpine locales are combined with crisply edited action to produce entertainment that's hard to resist. It's soft porn with a sense of humor that deserves a second look, years later. Illustrating the plusses and minuses in the video-or-film debate, the videotaped featurette looks cheap by comparison, but thanks to Misty Mundae's lezzie action with Lily Tiger, the straightforward "upper class meets working class" scenario is engaging and hypnotic. Mundae is a curvy waif with innocence and sensuality blended effectively, and the action is both fun and arousing to watch. A good combo of retro-porn and soft modern.
