Demand for erotic Anime has reached a fever pitch after a decade-long hiatus, and Hustler is supplying us with some well-crafted imports. This one is broken down into two episodes (think "Silk Stalkings" on Cinemax) wrought with suspense and a vampiric slant.

But the plot is marginalized in exchange for a uniform number of sex scenes. There are five fully realized scenes of cartoon characters (in each episode) indulging in coital activity (only occasionally consensual). The penetration and pop shots are hardcore and often just as boner inducing as any plot-driven porn populated by humans. Still, that doesn't alter the goofy (this time, anyway) misogynistic objectification of the female form: a receptacle for laughably proportioned phalluses. Another detriment is the slight running time. There's plenty more where this came from, and it should be included in such a well-marketed package.
