House of Dreams stands next to Hidden Obsessions as Andrew Blake's crowning masterpiece. In fact, as a crossover video for people who find Blake's work to be beautiful but cold, House seems to bridge the gap. Not only is it incredible to look at, the impassioned performance of Zara Whites brings the heat level up a few notches. Of course, there's also the fetish-tinged scene with White and the always-incredible Jeanna Fine (seen here with her almost edible, all-natural frame) to help out in the boiler room.

The disc unfortunately fails to do justice to such a fine adult film. The fault apparently lies with the original film-to-video master. At various points, the film jumps, distorts, and even skips out of frame. Also, the original transfer is a bit soft There are chapter stops, but no additional features. Despite these flaws and the lack of extras, the content of the film alone makes this a disc worth stocking.
