This big-budget, red-hot Spanish feature won seven awards, including Best Movie, at last year's International Erotic Film Festival in Barcelona. All were well deserved.

Hot Rats is a kind of a fairy tale for perverts, with Red Riding Hood, Snow White and The Devil among the characters. Sets and costumes are highly stylized. The sex is frequent and intense - almost all multiple-partner scenes. The videography has a hazy, dreamlike feeling. There's a thread of a plot, by no means linear. Dialogue is sparse and usually off the wall.

There's an all-star cast of Europorn divas, including Michelle Wild, Stacy Silver, Sophie Evans, Lea De Mae, Ana Nova and Bamboo. But it's Nacho Vidal, with only one scene, who gets top billing - an indication of his popularity in his native land.

Nacho, on the run from something, winds up in a reanimation lab, where he has threeway sex with Ana Nova and another blonde. Ana takes a d.p. from Nacho and a dildo.

Stacy Silver, blonde and busty, plays Red Riding Hood, who lives in a trailer with her greasy, fat stepdad and longs to be an actress. "If you want to be an actress," he tells her, "you've got to suck a lot of dicks." They have the only one-on-one sex scene.

Bamboo, the big-breasted Franco-Asian, plays a dominatrix instructor in a school where Red takes acting lessons. She makes the students fuck each other and joins in. The orgy includes Carmen, the leggy Spanish brunette who toiled in Porn Valley a few years back.

The Devil turns out to be a gorgeous brunette with big, bouncy, natural breasts - the stunning Michelle Wild. She's fucking a guy in a hallway when Red delivers a pizza and naturally joins in.

Red meets Snow White, played by Sophie Evans. "You're very famous," she tells her, "You're in all the children's books!" Her boyfriend has just killed one of the Three Little Pigs; the other two join in the fiveway orgy.
The final scene is a sex contest in a boxing ring with many spectators. "This is how we do things in Hell," the Devil says. It's actually a semi-bukkake. A gang bang of Lea DeMae and Michelle - anal sex, d.p.s. - is combined with guys - lots of them - jerking off on the girls. It's high-energy stuff, well shot and edited.

Dialogue tracks are in English, French and Spanish. The English dubbing is excellent. On the second disc, the subtitled behind the scenes and interviews are almost as entertaining as the movie itself.
