Albedo is a Colorado-based video company which first began producing glamour tapes in 1988. It now stocks nearly 85 titles in its catalogue but is particularly known for its impressive line of Wet T-Shirt contest tapes. Each year the company visits Spring Break hot spots throughout the country to record authentic (not staged) contests. Real college girls get down, dirty, (sometimes tipsy) and naked, thus making this series an astounding chronicle of public disclosure. Video stores looking for something out of the ordinary MUST make the Albedo tapes a compulsory purchase. There's nothing else like them.

Fans of the Albedo line of Wet T-shirt contest tapes will note some obvious departures in the new Hot Beaches, Wet T's series. For starters, a blonde hostess named Jennifer, a flirtatious, sly-looking beauty with a slim, articulate ass, conducts a striptease-in-progress as she introduces contests lensed in Padre Island, Texas; Matamoros, Mexico and Key West, Florida. The other new feature presents private footage of some of the contest winners doing swimsuit and nude posing on a secluded beach.

Each of the five volumes in this series kicks off with a topless (only) Wet T contest held at Padre Island. The caliber of the contestants in this event is usually exceptional but more on the conservative side as the tapes in the series will consistently prove. And because it's "just" a topless event, Albedoprovides a "square-up" with the viewer by devoting additional sidebars of the winners. Volume 1 presents dark-haired, big bosomed Rebecca. Rebecca strips out of her colors-of-the-flag bikini then takes a brisk, nude dip in the ocean. The follow up event is another Padre Island contest, this time lensed with a different POV. Again, topless is the strict order of the day.

The Matamoros 'tests (the club with day glo mosaics on the rear wall) generally are wilder and woollier as the next two events on this tape can attest. In the first, the ladies dance behind an industrial fence – for obvious reasons, and its sequel proves why the Matamoros footage is both cantankerous and unpredictable. Several of the girls get totally nude, and most of them show at least major ass crack. As tradition seems to have dictated with Albedo, the wind down event features action from "Rum Runners" in Key West. In nearly every case, you can lay even money that at least one of the girls is going to get totally naked. The action is raucous, saloon-style partying at its best and the contestants really liven things by adding major cockteasing to the venue.

In Volume 2¸ blonde Dawn, winner of the Padre Island 'test, delights viewers with additional beach posing, but, unfortunately, doesn't shock her bikini bottoms. Though not a "winner," per se¸ blond Jackie, a dancer-type, picks up the slack for Dawn and goes full-barrel, bare-ass naked in some bonus beach uncoverage. Once again, the Matamoros (the temptation is to say Metamucil) event pays off with some butt-revealing hijinx as two more events lensed there prove.

Volume 3 features a beach scene with voluptuous Debbie, winner of the Matamoros 'test (second event to appear on the tape). Debbie, a fireplug of a woman, will appeal especially to gents who covet gals with big butts. The second mini-feature is devoted to Melissa and Tina, both blondes and, like Debbie, healthy specimens of thickly-layered womanhood.

Angela, winner of the Padre Island event, is the designated beach babe/boxcover girl for Volume 4 Angela is the proud owner of a fabulous set of tits which she shows off in fine style. Pay particular attention to this volume for a couple of other reasons. Hostess Jennifer offers some extensive nude posing, and there's two more Matamoros events featuring an all-star lineup of voluptuous party-ites.

In Volume 5 we see Sonja, Padre Island's winner, basking in a semi-nude beach vignette. Hitting an even stronger second on the dunes is Tabitha, a curvy blonde from Chicago, who doesn't mind giving a full nude show.

"Louie's" is the site of another South Padre Island event—a tad more raunchier, but topless nevertheless. And for those Matamoros fans, which I'm sure are legion by this time in the review, there's another free-for-all. Events from "Rum Runners" in Key West add the finishing touches to this sparkling volume. An event which, for some reason tends to attract brunettes, there's a higher percentage of blondes this time around.
