A parody based on the popular syndicated television program "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous," Hot and Nasty basically introduces several sexual segments which range from very hot to typical of the sexvid kind. Hostess Barbara Dare commentates in between scenes and each of the supposed rich and famous stars act out the sex.

This might have made a great concept for a sexvid had some creativity been evident. But the set-ups do nothing to enhance the erotic scenes, and this tape ends up being just a sexual vignette collection. But since a few of the scenes are very good, fans of pure sex will probably enjoy it.

The highlights include Barbara Dare demolishing Mike Horner; ebony star Sahara in a jail cell with prison guards Marc Wallace and Billy Dee; rock star Steve Powers' backstage romp with two airheaded groupies; and Lili Marlene, who happens upon three penises sticking out of cardboard figures of guys.

However, the rest is standard stuff and some of the sets are a bit tacky. The camerawork, direction and video quality exceed the material here. With some thought and care, Hot and Nasty could have become one of the year's outstanding sexvids. But this finished product just misses.
