Reviews

Julia Ann is going home for Christmas because she just needs to get away, maybe to a swapped house she found on a website. "Honestly, you and men—you should just give up," mum Magdalene St. Michaels tells her, and her tension is sufficient that her plug-in wand vibe needs a visual assist from porn on her phone to get her over the edge.

Elsewhere, Codey Steele is delivering divorce papers to his hard-driving executive wife Vanna Bardot and advising her to get out of their house because he signed it up for a house swap. When the swap is executed, Julia Ann luxuriates at Bardot's place while Bardot, unhappy with her end of the house swap, desperately tries to get a hotel room over the Christmas holiday—as if—and is not pleased that April Olsen and Dillion Diaz are at the swapped house too. And the water heater is on the blink, which she finds out in mid-shower.

All is not well for Julia Ann, either, because Bardot's surly sister Whitney Wright dropped in to visit her now-absent sister because she had a big fight with her girlfriend. Bardot bonds with Olsen and Diaz over margaritas while Wright interrupts Julia Ann's vibe session ("I can hear that all over the house. Does it run on coal?") but they open up to each other to the point that Wright makes a play, which Julia Ann rebuffs ("I tried it in college, I was just experimenting"). Wright leans in and kisses her ... then splits. When Wright offers her some wine, she doesn’t want that either.

Elsewhere, indoors, Olsen and Diaz invite Bardot to sit between them on the couch and they make her feel better about her impending divorce. And when another of Julia Ann's vibe sessions trips a circuit breaker, Wright comes in to light some candles and crawls into bed with her.

In classic rom-com fashion, all the players are a bit better for their encounters, and they make plans to get together again later. A good choice for couples, especially once the weather cools off.
