Director Lizzy Borden offers an erotic variant on Laguna Beach’s Pageant of the Masters, but instead of re-creating tableaux vivants of famous paintings, these porn pros reanimate famous images from pop culture.
Elvis, Marilyn, Charlie Chaplin, Cleopatra (the Liz Taylor version)—it’s a cute idea, but we’re talking about minimal costuming, no set design and a bare wisp of a prelude before the hardcore action. Pop-culture buffs will be left wanting a little more.
As far as the sex goes, it’s all decent. Big-boob fans will appreciate appropriately cast Britney Amber (Marilyn Monroe opposite Rocco Reed as Joe DiMaggio) and Nika Noir (a lovely Raquel Welch with Tommy Gunn in a One Million B.C. tribute). And there’s McKenzie Lee, who, despite her incongruous rack, does resemble the stick-thin Audrey Hepburn as she trysts with Elvis in a Holly Golightly getup.
Tom Byron and Kaci Starr bring a bit more ambition to their vignette, playing around with silent-movie slapstick as two Chaplinesque Little Tramps. And Jennifer White and Evan Stone ramp up the heat considerably. It’s not their silly faux Egyptian garb; it the sight of White’s adorable pink nipples getting hard as Stone furiously licks her clit and fingers her—a most convincing tableau of sexual arousal.
