I hope the producers of the Henry Winkler film Night Shift never see this Jonathan Morgan-scripted features, for reasons which would be obvious to anyone who's seen both. The scenario this time is a hospital where the Winkler character, Jake Williams, has just been transferred to the night shift, where he meets "idea man" Jonathan Morgan, the Michael Keaton character, right down to the ever-present portable tape recorder. The Shelly Long role is essayed by the delicious Melanie Moore, who tackles Williams in his office at the beginning of the saga, rather than waiting till the end. It's an all-too-quick tryst that ends in a facial.
Of course, it takes 20 minutes to get to that first bare nipple, but then the sex scenes come like ducks in a shooting gallery. The Janet Jacme/Julian St. Jox match-up is one we've seen many times before, but Isis Nile administering to "old Jew" Tom Byron is quite pleasant, beginning with a massage, but flowing into a multi-position fuckfest. Heather Lee's seduction of Morgan in a vacant hospital room, however, is the hit of the show, as they suck and lick from bed to floor and back.
The orgy finale has Morgan and Williams switching partners, with Jacme, who does a great b.j. on Williams, spending most of her time getting herself off on the sidelines. In sum, the sex is passable, the script is familiar, the humor doesn't quite hit the spot, all adding up to a slightly above-average rating. However, with Moore, Lee and Jacme on the boxcover, the tape is bound to have wide appeal if prominently displayed.
