As many a director in this business will tell you, successful sex comedy is the hardest thing to bring off (besides an impotent stud). But when you see it unfold masterfully with crisp, brilliantine delivery, self-mocking grimaces, exaggerated double takes, sex clichés and dumb lines you know you shouldn't laugh at, but can't contain yourself anyway, and hot sex scenes, you got in one package everything this business should be about.

So happens here in Hot Talk Radio, as nuts an adult feature you're likely to find on your video store shelf. Stores – this is a must have!

Scott Baker, giving one of the finest comedic performances I've seen, plays shock jock Remus in the morning. He sings his own commercial jingles, does his own sound effects (cheapo station) and 60-seconds of the best evangelist schtick ever done, even by evangelists. While Remus blisters the airwaves with obnoxious patter, several stories are going on at once, much like the format of American Graffiti. Newlyweds Adam Carr and Kristara Knight can only get off when traffic reporter Cheri Taylor whispers about gridlock; a porn shoot is interrupted to get Heather Hunter on the air, and Rick Savage (playing himself) keeps dialing into the station from his car phone to make it with Taylor.

Not one character or performance is wasted. Taylor is brilliant and sexually all over the place as Ilsa Birnbaum, Remus' barb-target. Savage turns in a fine dual role with an on-the-money rendition of a sports jock, Deke Franklin. Ray Victory's the dumb jock-interview, Hunter's her sexual best while Carr and Knight are your typical "New Yawkers." The best feature Vidway's ever released, and Heather looks nice on the box, too.
