Although it's just another video made to cash in on the recent success of a theatrical hit, Heather Hunter Is Coming On America is nevertheless a benign, fun quickie.

Naturally, Heather plays the African princess who flees to America rather than get hitched in a pre-arranged marriage. To escape, she has to entice three palace guards to help her -- the tall, softspoken black Peter Lawrence, the curiously pale Rick Savage and Michael Knight.

The four of them set up camp in a fleabag hotel in Manhattan and are soon treated to the likes of hookers and sleazy detectives. As usual, the cast manages to screw themselves in and out of sticky situations.

Even though the story never resolves itself, and all the acting performances are lame, Heather Hunter once again sets her sex scenes on fire with her mellow features and inviting body. Ariel Knight and Mandi Wine also bring a "deeper" commitment to their throwaway roles so Coming On America isn't a bungle in the jungle.
