Releasing Gutter Mouths on DVD is the porn equivalent of the Special Collector's Edition of Barb Wire on laserdisc. You just have to ask why.  Other than as fuel for morbid curiosity (half of the female cast contracted HIV in later years), this four-scene folly might just as well have languished in the vault.

Ironically, the transfer is excellent.  Very sharp detail and even color balances make this one of the best looking DVDs Legend has yet pressed.  There are just a few of the usual extras, including cast bios and a few stills.
