Remember when your mother warned you about the games women play? But she never told you about how erotic playtime could be. That's okay; Uncle Chuck (Vincent, that is) will fill you in.

Games Women Play, an older film, is Vincent's curious look at a small circle of friends and the manner in which they spread vicious gossip about one of their cligue. The plot is rather emaciated but functional, serving as the backdrop for some steamy sexual encounters. There are a couple of highly enticing scenes which compensate for the weak plot, and the acting and production values are first rate.

There are two scenes, which will make the viewer wish that playtime rolled around more often. In the first, Kelly Nichols — looking quite attractive and in fine shape — takes on three guys on a poker table, while their other friend gets off watching. She first talks the guys through the session, getting more and more turned on, then goes over the edge as they fulfill her fantasies. In the other set-to, Leslie Bovee (since retired) proves that you don't have to be a baby to love oil. She spreads the lotion all over her lover and herself, then the greasy pair give each other lube jobs!

Since this film was first released about six years ago, it's interesting to note the difference between what was emphasized then and now. Obviously, more time and effort were spent on this film than on today's quickie counterparts, and it shows. Also interesting is an appearance by a young Ron Jeremy in a relatively straight role (as one of Kelly Nichols' poker aces). Though thinner and with hair trimmer, Ron's biggest asset is as viable as ever, proving that the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Put your VCR on "play" and let the games begin. You'll enjoy the Games Women Play. They're a helluva lot more fun than solitaire!
