Flesh and Laces details the story of dying millionaire Jamie Gillis, whose last will and testament declares that all of his money and property will be given to charity. There is (as always seems to be the case where millionaire's wills are concerned) one alternative stipulation. All of the said monies and properties could go to the one of his four children who entertains him the most. It seems that dear 'ol dad is into voyeurism, as he has had closed circuit cameras installed in his children's homes.

From this setup, we get to sit by Gillis' side as he changes channels on his hospital bedroom monitor, switching from one child to the next as they lure, seduce and often attack their ultimate sexual partners. Put another way, there's not much plot to speak of, but plenty of sex.

However, the "routine of positions" which the various couples go through – reminiscent at times of a pair of figure skaters going through their obligatory exercises – definitely detracts from the potential eroticism of Flesh and Laces. This lack of spontaneity breaks the spell (or fantasy, if you will), reminding us that these people are not the funny, or scary, or interesting characters they portray – just two actors getting it on.

One final note: don't be swayed by the late Shauna Grant's sexy photo adorning these two film's boxes. She shares equal time with nearly a dozen others in Tape 1 and appears only briefly in Tape 2.
