Erotic World of Ann Spice is a decent production possessed of clear camera and good intentions whose drawbacks arise from its virtues. As a peephole into the mind of a woman (J.R. Carrington) who writes erotic literature, its job is to dispatch sex efficiently. Perhaps too efficiently since one doesn't get any real sense of purpose to these pairings beyond the scope of the average delivery truck style wall-to-waller.
Screen credits advertise Brooke Water's "first d.p." which occurs when nipple-ringed Andrew Wade plugs Brooke in the doggie position with Sean Ryder serving as bottom man. That the action begins on a pool table and dissolves mysteriously to a bedroom (twin jizz shots in the kisser) is testimony to the validity of out-of-body experience.
As J.R.'s hubby, talented Steve Drake serves minimal purpose as the poster boy of spousal neglect but finally fucks J.R. in the ass – a technically correct entry but reacted to by J.R. as though her butt were numbed by novocaine.
In his new anally submissive role, Tom Byron gets butt fucked with a strap-on by a latex-clad Melissa Monet while Barbara Doll takes it up the ass by her own hand then perpetuates the nonsense that giving head to a strap-on (worn by J.R.) is a hot scene.
A location shoot and a good attempt, but a tilt of a camera here and a unique angle there, help, but not significantly enough to make much difference.
