Dimevision is a unrepentant homage to the now deceased "Dimebag," (Darrell Lance Abbot), a virtuoso guitarist in heavy metal bands Pantera, Damageplan and Rebel Meets Rebel. It comes complete with photo montages of Dimebag as well as band photos, guitar photos and magazine covers; live performance footage; sophomoric antics at parties such as unsafe firecracker usage; interviews; and even some poignant self-expression by Dimebag Darrell himself.
Directed by porn's own Red Ezra, it's all presented in a very frenetic, reality-driven, MTV-style, which lends itself perfectly to the wailing guitars that serenade us throughout.
Dimebag was killed in 2004, while onstage doing what he loved most, diving into the risky abyss of expression via music.
Pre-nom: Best Alternative Release.
Retailing: Many fans of porn are also heavy metal lovers.
