If you've had it to here with flimsy video framing devices that serve as an excuse to dish up some ragamuffin couplings that are looking for a home, then you'll be pleasantly surprised with Confessions.
Confessions provides an interesting plot hook that confronts the guilty pleasures all of us share but are very reluctant to share with the world. The fact that these "confessions" are hidden in secret files and that a skulking figure is seen pulling said files amid some Pink Pantherish cloak-and-dagger intrigue, only sucks our imaginations in further. After all, we're all products of tabloidism and newsy little buggers.
Taylor Wane admits to once having sex with Ron Jeremy. She did it, she confesses, only because some palm reader with a Brooklyn patois told her that fucking the next guy she runs into would be in her best interests. Do we smell a con job in the offing? Even though it's a shut up and deal situation with Ron, Taylor is exuberant and takes on Ron with the relish of a horny teenager in a two traffic light town.
Each confession has a viewer hook and a punch line. Saki takes on Max Ren in his hotel room, but gets suckered. Lorrin Mick auditions for a horror movie and winds up boffing the lead guy (Jerry Butler) who's decked out in some strange attire -- no, not women's clothes.
Stacey Nichols confesses that she really likes anal. No...get out of here!!!! Keisha confesses how she bought a car with a blowjob. Actually, that's standard barter with most XXX performers.
Likewise, don't miss the outtake at the very end featuring Jeremy sucking his dick on a dare from Taylor Wane. It's not part of the script, but it should make you green with envy.
A show with some definite pizazz, Confessions should do well as a prospective series, if this feature is any indication.
