Apart from some sizzling fetish fashions, there's nothing terribly kinky about Colette's Kinky Desires. Or terribly hot for that matter. The most impressive aspects of the tape, in fact, are the handsome backdrops for some of its four sex scenes. Still, for more adventuresome couples into beautifully produced, fetish-light hardcore Euro-fare, this tape will be to their liking.

It starts off painfully slow as, for nine long minutes, we're told the plodding story of how a fashion model befriends a more dowdy female - Colette of the title - and helps awaken her sexually by introducing her to the model's fast lane world. Making this portion of the video even more fast-forwardable is some really bad Godzilla-worthy English dubbing.

Thankfully, once the sex scenes start, we're pretty much done with the thin story line. But then a more formidable problem crops up - the sex, while always of the group grope variety, for the most part just lumbers along at the same mid-tempo boffing speed. Occasionally it comes to a full boil with say, a brief well-energized d.p., a gooey facial or some coarse mouth-to-mouth cum dribbling, but those moments are clearly the exception rather than the rule. The women, meanwhile, are attractive, but for the most part, hardly breathtaking knockouts.

No, the only knockouts here are the aforementioned settings, particularly the black and white checked Alice In Wonderland-like ballroom of the opening fiveway or the ancient Roman banquet hall of the - what else? - closing orgy.
