Vampire pornos are usually unintentionally silly, and this all-Brit production is no exception. Straddling the line between all-sex and story-driven, there's just enough plot here to qualify it for the latter category. Unfortunately, the plot is so unintelligible (in part because audio effects make some of the vampires' voices all but inaudible), that despite some nice moody production values and set design, all that really shines is the sex, which, in general, is pretty good.

UK adult star Cathy Barry, who, with her fangs - female vampires are so delicious - gorgeous face and big fake lungs, is undeniably hot, drives most of the scenes, including two fairly steamy all-girl threesomes (one featuring little-seen beautiful blonde Michelle Thorn) and couple of boy/girls. But maybe the nastiest scene is an orgy fairly early on, featuring Angel Long and a bunch of other performers probably familiar to Brit porn fans, but not to us Yanks.

At 140 minutes, though, Cathula 2: Vampires of Sex outstays its welcome by about a quarter.
