Synopsis

Between foolish risks and uncertain rewards, there's only one rule: bet your life to hope to win your destiny. For Maya Woulfe, poker isn't just a card game. Although she organizes poker nights on a small scale, the game and the risks involved excite Maya to no end. It's not uncommon for her to stay with Jimmy after a night out, enjoying the sights and sounds of the place after the players have left, and letting herself go with a partner who knows her body inside out and, above all, knows how to make her come.

Reviews

Welcome to Maya Woulfe's private gambling den, where players can bet their female companions at the table after they run out of chips. When Woulfe gets a late-night after-hours call from her father telling her he's about to die, she doesn’t buy it: "You're lying again, as usual." But dad soldiers on, telling her he's sent somebody to help her ("I don’t want your help," she snaps) and ohbytheway it's Clara Mia who is sitting right across the table from you right now helping you ice your aching hand after you hurt it in a fistfight a minute ago. Dad wants Woulfe to take over his no-limits gambling operation, with Mia's help.

After dad takes his life, Woulfe dumps his ashes in the Seine with a laconic "All-in, Dad" and tells Mia she'll accept help from her, if she'll teach everything her father knew: "I want to be better than him." Mia lays out the ground rules for the "no-limits game": Pick a patsy or two and fleece them, with all the other players in on it. "We don't kill anyone. We won't need to hide a corpse, and above all we won't get caught by the police. Safe and effective." The patsy of choice is Ricky Rascal, because "at 30 years old, this guy's already bored with everything."

When Rascal fronts Mia some gambling chips at roulette, Woulfe's boyfriend Jimmy Bud spots it ("Looks like we've already roped in our sucker"), but Woulfe is cautious: "Don’t get excited yet. Let's see what happens." Mia lures Rascal into the no-limit scam with a combination of Champagne, danger and sex. (When Bud watches Mia kissing Rascal and prissily observes, "That wasn't part of the plan," Woulfe coolly tells him, "Let her have her fun.")

The scamsters gather at Shalina Devine's villa in Málaga where Woulfe, after a measure-each-other-up confrontation, accepts Devine's terms of meeting her expenses and handing over Bud to take part in an orgy—filled with familiar Euro-faces (and other body parts)—leaving Woulfe and Mia alone to cement their partnership.

The players gather for the no-limit game, letting Rascal win—initially—and establishing the high stakes by having a busted-out player "killed" after losing one last hand. Flush with Rascal's money, Woulfe, Mia and Bud celebrate before setting off on their separate ways.

Casino Endgame's paper-thin plot is enlivened by well-shot sex scenes. The production was nominated in four categories for the 2025 AVN Awards: Best Cinematography, Best International Anal Sex Scene, Best International Group Sex Scene for the orgy, and Best International Production.
