The ambrosial mix of "racial types" manifested in Rio de Janeiro and throughout Brazil is praised in resounding terms here by John Stagliano, whose prodding, penetrating lens takes on Carnival and captures some heart-stopping outcroppings of the raw, frenetic carnality which serves as the basis for Carnival and indeed Rio's sex culture as a whole.
Coated in heavenly hues suggesting burnt sugar, caramel or coffee and cream, the heinies arrayed here are all full and meaty in the proud Buttman tradition, and each of them is invariably put to decidedly nasty good use. Especially hot is Matara's hell-fire romp with her real-life boyfriend - and certified stud - Roge. She's a heartbreaker in every sense, and clearly knows how to ring her bells. Then there's the six-person mini-orgy which closes things out in high style, treating the eye and libido equally to breath-taking glimpses at a category of passion and beauty most people will never know.
