Spoofing sacred cows is a time-honored tradition, and now Hitchcock’s Psycho gets its due. Butt’s Motel takes place in a non-too-Gothic motel where the owner (Jerry Butler) relieves his voyeuristic fetish by spying on his clientele. Marc Wallice and Sasha play newlyweds with an appetite for anal sex, while Carol Cummings prefers the female company of Cassie Nova. But don’t expect any of the black humor or suppressed eroticism of the original. Butt’s Motel is as subtle as an Armenian earthquake, and due to the mechanical nature of the sex scenes, your attention span is the only casualty. Nice packaging, though.
