The Burning Man Festival, which is held far out in the Nevada desert and runs for about a week each year around Labor Day, attracts some of the world's best weirdos to frolic, often naked, in the 100+ degree sun, and to create Art.  Various people roll in the mud, decorate themselves and each other with fluorescent (and less vibrant) paints, dress up in outré costumes, make and display unusual sculptures, ride in and on strange vehicles and in general do things that one is not likely to see on a Sunday stroll in downtown St. Paul.  The climax of the festival is the ignition of the several-story-tall "Burning Man," shortly after which the participants pack up and go home.

All five Burning Man Festival  tapes, which may not be limited to the 1998 festival -- Vol. 2 says "1997" on the tape, and every 3-5 show no date at all -- concentrate on the nude aspect of the celebrations, with every cameras capturing the naked tits, ass and idle conversation from eveyr angle and in every situation. Be warned that Vol. 3, at least, has a tiny bit of hardcore.

All in all, these volumes comprise an excellent rerepresentation of the Burning Man Festival, a wholly American art form, and are worth stocking for that reason.
