Adult product marketed with a self-glorifying record-industry approach typically lacks erotic value. Still, the intrigue of the social scene (clubs, etc.) remains a compelling curiosity. Nothing is staged (hopefully) as girls (traditionally) disrobe for loot (or attention), and groups of men and woman swoon drunkenly to the pulsating beats being spun by the DJ. That DJ here is Joe Pro, who plugs himself until you'll have the name stuck in your head, in an annoying way.
There's a minor (yet overlong) excursion into black girl-on-black girl action, but the lighting is so primitive and the wannabe muzak so oppressive, the erotic value winds up submerged. If you're a Joe Pro fanatic (it's possible, this reviewer supposes) or an ethnologist enthralled by the urban club circuit, look no further. One question which needs to be answered: With music a focus, why the putrid transistor radio-esque sound-mix?
