After Scarface, director Brian DePalman promised a pornographic film. In Body Double, he delivers a film about porn, instead. He has perverted the themes of Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window and Vertigo, and created the ultimate voyeur's wet dream.

Melanie Griffith plays Holy Body, a porn star who gets sucked into a labyrinth plot of seduction, mystery and murder. The controversy stirred by the notorious "drilling" scene, decadent violence and ample sex does not overshadow fluent filmmaking. It's an exciting story with a marvelous cast, especially Griffith and Craig Wasson, who plays the male lead.

You're in for a rollercoaster ride of suspense and sexy intrigue, for in the world of Body Double, nothings seem believable. (Note: Several X-rated film stars, including Linda Shaw and Cara Lott, make cameo appearances in this movie.)
