The digital release of Blue Dahlia, one of the hottest films ever put out by Metro, not only looks beautiful, it also sounds great (the disc is actually in Dolby surround). Director James Avalon's dream sequence-driven masterpiece is lush and gorgeous on the disc. DVD fanatics expecting multiple angles or extra features might be disappointed, since there aren't any to speak of, but everyone else should be thrilled.
