As a performer, Mr. Pete is pretty take-no-prisoners. As a director, at least here, he's pretty kinder, gentler.
Handsomely produced in a high-rent locale with a hot female cast garbed in sexy heels, boots, fishnets and PVC, Bitches in Heat nonetheless is half (clam) baked girl/girl action.
Its five hardware-enhanced scenes all have their moments, but they're the exception rather than the rule. Most of the time, the sex ambles on at mid-tempo with only middle of the road nastiness, seemingly belying Hustler's proud hard-raunch rep. 2257 anxieties?
Retailing: The Hustler pedigree will likely make for some movement out of an active girl/girl section.
