All bets are off—and common decency is out the window—when the fresh and alluring scent of a virgin is in the air. Indeed, this is exactly the case when an unscrupulous, sexually obsessed teacher, Michael Vegas, tires of beating off to his student Carolina Sweets' yearbook photo, and when a rich, perverted, step-sibling duo, Justin Hunt and Casey Calvert, set their sites on the naïve, nerdy girl in their class, Vienna Black. Of course, regardless of the scenario, it's safe to say that neither of the nubiles walks away unsullied in these two twisted tales of deceit that comprise Craven Moorehead's Biography of a Virgin.
Featuring scorching setups and utterly diabolical aggressors, along with believable victims, this production not only fuels the sexual fires with its erotic visuals, but also strikes the deeply disturbed tone that Moorehead clearly intends. The only real drawback throughout—and it is momentary—is that the transitions from fear to willingness in each scene seem somewhat abrupt and forced, which may be a result of editing.
Particularly noteworthy is Vegas' performance, in which he portrays a crazed, out of control teacher to utter perfection. His supreme acting chops are well highlighted as he takes advantage of Sweets, who herself is the epitome of the out-of-reach, hard-on-inspiring, barely legal hottie. Not to be outdone, Casey Calvert and Justin Hunt deftly play the parts of devious, sexually-warped rich kids, in stark contrast to Vienna Black's believable depiction of the curious though nervous ingénue. The sex that results all-around is both pulse-pounding and intense, and it succinctly closes the loop on Moorehead's dark and debauched vision of young lust.
